As the day of her scan arrives, it is clear that Linda is not looking forward to the occasion, still unsure over whether the baby is her husband Mick's or his brother Dean's.
At
the hospital, both Elaine and Lee are ecstatic to see the baby and hear
everything is fine, but it's clear to Elaine that Mick and Linda are
struggling.

Worried about her daughter, Elaine later confronts Linda, who reveals
she received a call to say her case has been referred to the CPS and
she's waiting to hear if Dean will be charged. However, as she opens up
to her mum, Linda breaks down and reveals her biggest fears...
Knowing it is time for her and Mick to get back to normal, Linda decides to recreate a picnic she and Mick had years ago.
Spending
time alone together, the two finally open up about their feelings, but
will Linda be able to tell Mick what is worrying her?
