After Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) and Martin
deal with their wayward daughter Rebecca's behaviour together, Martin
is left with fresh hope that their marriage could get back on track.
As
Martin makes the decision to speak to Sonia about his feelings, he is
unaware that she has been getting passionate with Tina.
When Sonia and Tina are finally honest with
each other about their feelings, Sonia delights Tina when she suggests
they give the relationship a go. However, Sonia insists that she wants
to keep their romance a secret from their family and friends for now.

While Sonia's life finally seems to be looking up, her former husband Martin isn't having as much luck.
After
his day goes from bad to worse, Martin takes his frustration out on
various residents, including Sonia, and later decides to attend Donna's
party.
However, after getting drunk, Martin causes a scene at the party and after he kisses Donna for a bet, Fatboy lashes out at him.
Following
his run-in with Fatboy, Sonia confronts Martin about his behaviour, but
is left horrified by what he reveals in his next outburst...
