When Jane and Ian Beale return from their honeymoon, Cindy tarts to question her role as a mother as it becomes clear that Jane has bonded with Beth whilst they have been away.
Later,
when Jane beats her to the morning feed, Cindy's fears are compounded
and she starts to wonder whether Beth actually needs her.
Unable
to cope, Cindy confides in Liam Butcher about her predicament but he
encourages her to step up, prompting Cindy to collect Beth from nursery
and spend the afternoon with her.

However, her plan soon backfires and when Jane and Ian hit the roof, and Cindy is soon left to resort to desperate measures.
Following
some drastic actions, Cindy's world comes crashing down around her as
she deals with the consequences of what she has done.
After Cindy
returns to the Square in a panic, Jane attempts to sort out her mess
but it's Liam who comes to her rescue and saves the day.
Later,
Shabnam comes across Cindy and offers her some serious advice about her
future. Following her conversation with Shabnam, Cindy makes a huge
decision which leaves the Beale family in shock. What has she decided?
