The Walford mechanic has always tried to stay loyal to Phil, but he now
has Max to worry about too as he is working for him at The Arches.
Max is on cloud nine next week as business is booming following a lucrative business deal with newcomer Karin Smart, but Jay soon discovers that everything isn't quite as it seems.
When Jay spots something suspicious with one of the cars that Max has recently
sold, he shares his discovery with Phil, who then confirms his own
involvement in the dodgy activity by warning him to keep quiet.

Despite Phil playing the family loyalty card, Jay is
surprised when Max apologises for his recent bad behaviour, so he
returns the favour to his boss by coming clean.
When Max later questions Phil about Karin, a shocked Phil realises that Jay
has betrayed him by revealing all. But what exactly is the secret plan
that Phil and Karin have hatched together?
