EastEnders, Kat Moon will make some surprising decisions next week as she attempts to move on with her life.

Scenes that aired earlier this month saw Kat attempt suicide after a devastating build-up of troubles, and upcoming episodes will see her finally decide to face her past.

Alfie and Kat go for a picnic
A big week for Kat kicks off after she tells Stacey that she has received another letter asking her to testify against Harry.

Attempting to put the letter behind her, Kat later supports Alfie (Shane Richie) over at Beales', where he desperately tries to persuade his friend Ian to let him manage the restaurant.

However, with Alfie distracted, Kat soon slips back into old habits and heads over to The Vic with a bottle of wine.

When Stacey tires of Kat's drunken antics, Kat is soon forced to leave the pub where she bumps into an equally troubled Max and starts to open up about her problems.

The following day, Kat takes steps to get her life back on track and meets Alfie in the park for a picnic. As the pair start to open up about their feelings, Kat surprises Alfie when she tells him she wants them to get back together. What will he say?

Deciding it is time to face her past next week, Kat will also decide to visit the convent where she gave birth to her daughter Zoe when she was a teenager.

The episode will feature a guest appearance from June Whitfield as she supports a broken Kat while they take a trip down memory lane.
