Cindy
is hopeful of a good time as she makes last-minute preparations for her
prom, but the big day is ruined when Ian Beale spoils the atmosphere by
revealing that Jane has been paying Carol Jackson to look after her.
Feeling
betrayed by Carol and Liam, an emotional Cindy decides to drown her
sorrows at The Albert and asks two men to buy her drinks.
Liam is later shocked to see Cindy getting into a car with the
men and rushes off to warn Ian and Jane, who waste little time before
calling the police.

Cindy soon starts to regret her reckless behaviour when she realises
that she might be in danger, while tensions continue to mount for her
family back at home following her disappearing act.
When Cindy finally turns up following her scare, she assures a frightened Jane that she wasn't hurt in any way.
Ian
is also extremely concerned and is keen to make amends following the
recent family feud, but Cindy insists that they don't really care about
her and leaves the Beale house again. When Liam encourages Cindy to
return home, what will she decide?
