Emmerdale - Laurel Dingle will make a move on her husband Marlon as they prepare to make their split official.

Upcoming episodes will see Laurel receive the tragic news that her mother has passed away, just as her and Marlon finally accept that their marriage is over.

Laurel faces an emotional time as she attends her mum's funeral, and she is later left upset by her sister's blunt remarks at the wake.

With emotions running high, a devastated Laurel ends up making a scene as she blurts out more than she intended to.

As they arrive home, Marlon and Laurel are both in a sombre mood following the day's events. In desperate need of some comfort, Laurel makes a move on Marlon and they end up sharing a kiss.

However, reality hits the following day as Marlon tentatively broaches planning their separation with Laurel, who is equally daunted by it.
