Jase's arrival at the pub will come at the end of a very busy week for
the Carters, which sees more of their problems come to a head.
When
Linda returns from her holiday with her daughter Nancy, she finally
finds out about her son Lee's depression and convinces him to open up
about how he's feeling.
It's not just Lee who decides to be
honest, as Nancy also comes clean about how her seizures
are getting worse and agrees to see a doctor at last.

When Nancy returns from seeing the GP, the Carters share a group hug and
appear to be more united than ever. However, they're all stopped in
their tracks when Elaine suddenly bursts through the door with Jase -
introducing him as her fiancé.
