Valerie spends her first morning badgering patients and promoting herself as a medical sales representative.
While most of the regular staff are well used to Valerie's antics, there's an awkward misunderstanding with newcomer Sid Vere as he hasn't met her before.
The pair come face-to-face in the nurses' cupboard, but Valerie reckons that Sid is a thief looking for drugs. Sid is also taken aback, assuming that her strange demeanour means that she's a patient in need of psychiatric help. Will their working relationship improve after getting off on the wrong foot?
