Patrick doesn't react well when Mrs St Claire tries to take over, but his furious outburst backfires when his new enemy immediately reports him to the board of governors. This leads to Patrick being made redundant and Mrs St Claire taking over with immediate effect.
Speaking of her new role, Annie Wallace said: "I'm delighted to be joining Hollyoaks as Mrs. St Claire. She's such a great character and my first couple of scenes with Jeremy really show off her feisty personality, she's a force to be reckoned with. I hope the viewers love her as much as I do."
Mrs St Claire is not a bully like Patrick, but she has a no-nonsense attitude which stems from a desire to help young people achieve the future they deserve.
