Audrey is currently
wrestling with secret feelings for Ken Barlow, but is kicking herself
for letting Nessa get in there first.
As
Audrey nurses a broken heart, Nessa will have further luck with Ken when she spends the
night at the Barlow house for the first time.
Nessa
also makes an effort to win round Ken's granddaughter Amy, hoping that
it will cement her new place within the Barlow family.
With her relationship going from strength to strength, Nessa is
delighted when she later tells Audrey that she'll be attending Carla
Connor and Nick Tilsley's engagement party as Ken's plus one.
Audrey pretends to be happy for Nessa and
offers to do her hair for the occasion, but Nessa is appalled by the
results when Audrey's efforts go drastically wrong.
It's
clear to Nessa that Audrey sabotaged her on purpose and she refuses to
attend the party because she looks so frightful. However, when Ken invites Nessa to stay the night again, has Audrey's masterplan
backfired?
