Emmerdale - Robert Sugden prepares to take to the witness stand as Chrissie's trial continues, but a heartfelt plea from her son Lachlan could change everything.

Chrissie is facing an uncertain future as she stands trial for her part in the helicopter crash that cost the lives of Val Pollard and Ruby Haswell.

Knowing that Robert is due to give evidence, Chrissie tells Lawrence that the outcome is resting on his testimony as that is what will sway the jury.

However, unbeknownst to them, Lachlan has been listening to their conversation and decides to take matters into his own hands in order to help his mum.

Lachlan later asks Robert a heartfelt favour before he is due in court, but as Robert takes the witness stand, will he listen? And which way will the case go?
