EastEnders - Kat Moon will defy her family's wishes when she becomes determined to attend her father Charlie's funeral, despite their insistence that she stays away.

Kat will be alienated from her family due to the fact that her sisters blame her for Charlie's death.

After Alfie spots an obituary for Charlie in the paper from all of his family except Kat, it becomes clear that they aren't planning to forgive her anytime soon. Tensions grow further when Mo later arrives and tells an upset Kat that she's not welcome at the funeral.

Although Kat agrees she should stay away, the news doesn't go down well with Stacey, who surprisingly shares some encouraging words with Kat.

With Stacey's words in mind, an emotional Kat visits Charlie to say goodbye and decides that she has to be at the funeral no matter what.

As the day of Charlie's funeral arrives, Kat is still nervous about attending since her family don't want her there, despite Alfie's support.

In the The Vic, Kat manages to pay her own tribute to her dad as she shares some loving words about him, but the moving occasion soon takes another turn when she is furious to learn that Belinda has secretly met Tommy.

Tensions between the sisters increase when gossip starts to spread about an unwell Stacey, prompting a protective Kat to throw a drink over Belinda, but the pair later start to bond during a heart-to-heart.

As they start to open up to each other, Kat reveals the truth about her other twin baby, prompting Belinda to share a memory. Could Belinda hold the key to the whereabouts of Kat's estranged son?
