Aaron is stunned by his mother's betrayal when he spots them together and soon demands that she leaves him, but Chas stays stubborn by trying to talk him round.
Chas initially thinks that her efforts have
been a success, but Aaron has lost his patience with her and secretly
makes plans to leave the village.
As Aaron
heads off, he is stopped by Robert and suddenly collapses
from sepsis following his recent self-harm. Realising that Aaron has
been hurting himself again and has an infection, Robert rushes him to
hospital.
Once they arrive, Robert is left
shocked and concerned as Aaron whispers something in his ear, hinting
that the self-harm isn't his only big secret.
Aaron later decides to discharge himself
following a one-night stay in hospital, leaving Robert to explain his
absence by telling a furious Chas that they spent the night together.
Catching
up with Aaron later, Robert is taken aback when his ex-lover reveals a
shocking secret from his past, and it's something that even viewers
have been unaware of until now.
Despite
feeling out of his depth after what Aaron tells him, Robert pledges his
support and promises Aaron that he's not alone. But what has Aaron been
hiding?
