Carmel has harboured feelings
for Masood for some time, but any chances of them becoming a proper
couple were thwarted when he learned that she had hidden the truth about
baby Arthur's paternity.
When Carmel turns
50 in an upcoming episode, she is disappointed when her family don't
give her the celebrations she deserves, prompting Denise to step in.
Denise organises a
surprise party at Beales' for her friend, but she ends up spending the
evening discussing past relationships with Masood.
Caught
up in the moment, Masood gets the wrong idea about what Denise is
saying and soon leans in to kiss her, leaving Denise horrified.
Things go from bad to worse when a devastated Carmel spots the incident, but how will she react?
