As the McQueens prepare for Pete's
trial, Cleo starts to feel increasingly let down by
her mother Reenie when she goes missing just before they are due in
court.
Although everyone is desperate for
Cleo to tell the jury the truth about what Pete did to her, it's clear
that she is feeling desperately torn over what to do.
After
Cleo's video statement is played to the courtroom, Reenie arrives just
in time to see her daughter before she goes in to give evidence.
Reenie
begs Cleo to do the right thing and is hopeful that she has done enough
to persuade her, but Celine isn't so sure she'll listen to their
advice.
Taking
to the stand, Cleo starts to crack under pressure as she receives
a tough interrogation from the defence, and her honesty is also brought
into question when they ask whether it was her driving on the night
Rachel Hardy died.
All eyes are on Pete when it's his turn to be questioned and the McQueens are left horrified as he puts on the performance of his life, but what will the outcome of the trial be?
