Irene is being held against her will in a derelict house in the middle of nowhere. Although she desperately tries to free herself, Mick, the man who believes he is her son, steps up his crazy behaviour.
With Olivia and Chris desperately discussing
Irene's predicament with policewoman Kat in The Diner, they are unaware
that an unhinged Mick is watching them. Mick then attempts to kidnap
Olivia, but when his plan falls flat, he subjects Irene to his most
terrifying punishment yet.
As he drags Irene
through farmland, he vows to make her pay for every sorry second of his
life. Is this the end of the line for a traumatised Irene?
Lynne McGranger, who plays Irene, said: "Mick is convinced Irene is his mum. But Irene says for the umpteenth time, 'You're delusional, you're not my son!' Mick
is a psycho and he blames Irene for his state. He has gone from one bad
foster home to the next. All he wants is for his mother to love him, and he doesn't want to share her with anyone else."
