Following Linda's decision to report Dean to the police
for rape, she and Mick are given some bad news when they are informed
that it could take six weeks before a decision is made over whether to
charge him.
Dean will also struggle to cope as rumours about the
rape continue to spread. With his business already suffering, Dean's
attempts to rectify the situation backfire when his staff all start to
quit.
Things later come to a head between Dean and Shirley when
she buys him a ticket to leave London. Feeling more alone than ever,
Dean refuses to leave Walford but receives a boost when Denise Fox quits
her job at The Vic to show her support for him.
When Mick's
frustrations reach a boiling point, he decides to take matters into his
own hands and storms over to Blades where he demands to talk to Dean.
Despite
Shirley's pleas, Mick drags Dean to the allotments, but
what does he have planned and can he control his rage any longer?
