Hollyoaks' Darren Osborne will be intrigued when he stumbles across a mysterious message next week.

The finding comes following Darren's various attempts to improve his love life, with the help of his friend Tony Hutchinso.

With Darren short-staffed at the cab office, Tony offers to stand in but soon hires himself as a permanent driver.

When Tony later witnesses Darren unsuccessfully try to chat up a woman waiting at the bus stop, he offers to help him.

Unfortunately, Tony's help does not go according to plan and Darren later decides to reminisce by pulling out a box of old keepsakes.

Whilst the box mainly consists of football stickers and old bracelets, Darren is intrigued to also find half a beer mat with a message on.

The message reads: 'Darren. You were the love of my life. If we're still single by the time we're thirty, let's find each other,' but who wrote it?
