Stacey Branning will call the police in EastEnders next week after Lauren makes a chilling discovery about Lucy's murder.

A dramatic week for Lauren kicks off after she finally finds the missing piece of the police file left behind by Emma Summerhayes.

Determined to get further answers, Lauren desperately tries to access Emma's phone by attempting to guess the passcode.

After a frustrating day, Lauren heads to The Vic where Ian's stag do is well under way, but when Ian innocently offers her an alcoholic drink, she runs out and heads to Max's office.

When she fails to unlock Emma's phone once again, an overwhelmed Lauren spots a bottle of whiskey on the side and it is clear that she is tempted to drink.

As Lauren's world begins to spiral out of control, Max and Abi quickly grow suspicious of her behaviour and after a confrontation with Lauren, Max asks Stacey to talk to her.

However, Max grows even more concerned when he hears that Lauren almost fainted and finds her at Stacey's where he furiously demands answers.

Max's sudden arrival interrupts Lauren as she prepares to confide in Stacey about what she knows. As Max drags Lauren away, she leaves Stacey with a used pregnancy test...

Following the previous interruption, Lauren and Stacey resume their conversation in which Lauren lets slip to a shocked Stacey that she knows what really happened to Lucy.

Although Stacey is adamant that Lauren needs to go to the police with her knowledge, Lauren instead returns home where she persists with trying to break into Emma's phone.

Later, Lauren arrives at Stacey's, but is horrified when DI Keeble rings the buzzer - Stacey has called the police. As Lauren finds herself in a compromising situation, will she admit the truth about Lucy?
