The rebellious teenager causes havoc as she continues to miss her father Cameron Campbell following his recent departure from the village.
Peri
will face further upset after realising that her mother Leela is
growing close to former boyfriend Ziggy Roscoe once again, and later
discovering that her uncle Ste Hay has been diagnosed as HIV positive.
Unable
to cope with any more, Peri's behaviour spirals out of control and she
locks herself in a fire truck, which has been driven to Hollyoaks High
by Leela for careers day.
As Peri causes a scene by threatening
to drive the vehicle into the school building, John Paul McQueen is on
hand to reason with her as he stands in front of the truck to stop it
from going anywhere.
