Hollyoaks, the Lomax and O'Connor families have a dramatic week in store once the shocking truth about Rose and Dee Dee being switched at birth comes to light.

The secret is revealed when Ziggy Roscoe finds a letter that Tegan has written about Rose and Dee Dee, just as her health is deteriorating rapidly due to her illness.

With Tegan in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant, Ziggy and the Lomax clan insist that Dee Dee needs to be tested as a possible donor.

Stubborn Diane refuses to believe that Dee Dee isn't her biological daughter, but her ex-partner Tony Hutchinson does some detective work and reveals that Mariam, the midwife who delivered Rose and Dee Dee, was sacked for misconduct.

When Tegan's half-brother Ste Hay finds Mariam's address for Diane and Tony, they pay her a visit to seek some answers over exactly what happened that day.

Ziggy also takes matters into his own hands by snatching Dee Dee from Diane's flat and taking her to the hospital. Once there, Ziggy and Leela beg Celine McQueen to test Dee Dee without parental consent as time is running out for Tegan.

Viewers will have to wait and see exactly what happens next, but Diane later desperately seeks advice over her parental rights and calls a lawyer to discuss getting sole custody of both Rose and Dee.

Meanwhile, Mariam (Helen Lederer) is also a woman on a mission as she turns up at the hospital and blackmails Dr S'avage to help clear her name, exploiting some knowledge she has against him from their past.

Mariam is later sectioned, but when Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) makes a beeline for her at the psychiatric unit, is she just being friendly or does the village's most notorious schemer have a shock plan to secure her own freedom?
