Upcoming episodes will see Kat attempt to take her own life as she reaches her lowest ebb following a devastating build-up of problems.
With
Alfie having come to her rescue, both he and Stacey stay by her hospital bedside while she pulls through the
worst.

| Alfie and Kat are reunited once again |
After a distraught Alfie promises Kat that he will be there for her, he
later unites with Stacey and Mo in order to make Kat feel as comfortable
as possible upon her release from hospital.
Later in the week,
Kat and Alfie receive a visit from the social worker, where the pair do
their best to reassure him that they are capable parents.
However,
despite Alfie's ongoing support, it soon becomes apparent that Kat has
got a long journey ahead of her before she is back to her usual self.
