Theresa will stumble across a blooded shirt in Patrick's washing machine,
following a surprise attack on Cindy Cunningham outside Daz Cabs one
evening.
Theresa will make the discovery after she attempts to look after Patrick by taking him home when she notices his strange mood.

Following her discovery, Theresa finds herself unable to be around Patrick and quickly makes her excuses to leave.
Although
Patrick is initially baffled by Theresa's change in behaviour, he
realises what she has discovered when he looks down at the washing
machine and notices the shirt. What has Patrick done?

The blooded shirt is not the only shocking discovery that Theresa makes
that day, as she also learns that Patrick has motor neurone disease.
It was announced over the weekend that
Hollyoaks will be exploring the effects
of the incurable disease in a hard-hitting storyline, and Patrick will
confide in Theresa about his diagnosis in emotional scenes next week.
