Daniel and Imogen find themselves in
the situation after they attempt to retrieve Agnes Robinson's discarded
pearl ring from the well just before the ceremony.
Daniel
convinces Imogen to climb into the well to help him, but disaster
strikes when the ladder they are using collapses, causing them to crash
down to the bottom.

Trapped in the well together, Daniel and Imogen desperately try to call
for help by banging pieces of the broken ladder together in an attempt
to attract someone's attention.
However, their fears escalate
when a council worker places a grate over the mouth of the well, as
Daniel becomes increasingly depressed by the thought of what Amber must
be going through at the altar. Will anyone come to their rescue?
