Nina Tucker will return to Ramsay Street later this month as the Erinsborough Festival draws to a close on Neighbours.

As previously announced, singer Delta Goodrem reprised her role to help mark the soap's 30th anniversary milestone, and her return stint will culminate in her performing at the closing ceremony of the festival.

Upon her return to her former home, Nina is initially keen to keep a low profile and books into the hotel under a different name. Despite her attempts to stay incognito, Nina is soon spotted by a delighted Lou and Susan, who both welcome her back with open arms.

However, it soon becomes evident that all is not right with Nina as she visits old haunts and clearly feels nostalgic for the simpler life she once had in Erinsborough. Nina spots an opportunity to recapture her past and spontaneously offers her services to Terese as a fill-in housekeeper at the hotel.

The reason behind Nina's reflective behaviour soon comes to light when she confides in Karl and Susan about how much she misses her old, normal life, confirming that she has split with partner Jack Scully after 10 years together.

After working through her feelings for Jack by composing a new song, Nina finds her plans to slip back into normal Erinsborough life foiled when Paul pleads with her to sing at the festival's closing concert.

Although Nina is adamant that she isn't there to perform, Paul is not happy when it looks like his only other option for entertainment is Karl's band The Right Prescription.

After Lou pays Nina a visit and queries the reason why she is so averse to performing at the concert, Nina admits that she is enjoying being Nina 'the person' as opposed to Nina 'the star'. However, when Lou tells her the two can't be separated and urges her to sing her new song at the concert, Nina starts to have a change of heart.

As the concert kicks off, Paul is about to announce The Right Prescription when Nina strides onto the stage and belts out her new song 'Only Human', prompting the crowd to go wild.

In real life, Delta has recently released 'Only Human' as a new single in Australia and the UK.
