Doctors, a new F2 is introduced to The Mill's team of staff as Sid Vere starts work at the surgery.

Played by Ashley Rice, newcomer Sid makes an instant impression on his colleagues as he arrives full of enthusiasm and armed with extensive knowledge about the surgery and its staff.

Practice manager Howard Bellamy is pleased that Sid has done his homework and assigns Zara Carmichael as his mentor, despite the fact that Heston Carter wants the role far more.

As Zara starts working with Sid, it quickly becomes clear that he has a problem with taking far too long during consultations with patients.

Zara orders Sid to change his ways but when he ignores her warning, it seems that she may have a battle on her hands with The Mill's newest recruit!
