Grace faces a fresh crisis when her partner Trevor Royle
decides to clear her name by tracking down Mercedes. He reveals his plan
while visiting Grace at the jail, but she urges him to reconsider as
she knows that Esther Bloom will pull out of the surrogacy deal if she
finds out the truth about her deception.
It's not just
relationship issues on Grace's mind as she also gets a surprising new
cellmate in the form of Reenie McQueen, who may just be a
little too close to home after recent events!

Back on the outside, obsessed Kim Butterfield grows
tired of being apart from Grace and gets herself arrested so they can be
together again.
Once she is behind bars, Kim even spikes
Reenie's drink with a laxative, putting her in hospital and leaving room
for Kim in Grace's cell.
Kim's arrival comes just as Grace is
feeling down, having heard that Trevor (Greg Wood) has defied her wishes
by heading to France to find Mercedes.
When Kim comforts Grace about her failing relationship with Trevor, it's not long before they fall into bed together...
