Darren has spent the past few weeks trying to
figure out who left a romantic message for him on a beer mat years ago,
convinced that it's his destiny to be with the girl in question.
Viewers now know that Cindy has the other half of the beer mat. Although she has so far kept quiet,
she comes clean next week when Darren is about to be tricked by a face
from his past.
When Darren's ex-girlfriend Jessica Harris gets in
touch and lies that she is his mystery woman, Cindy tells him the truth
to stop him from making a big mistake.
Given food for thought
when Cindy reveals all, Darren can't help asking her whether she really
wants to marry her current partner Dirk Savage.
Keen to prove the strength of her current relationship, Cindy books her
wedding to Dirk for two days' time, while Darren decides that he will
still go to see Jessica in France.
Up to no good as ever, bad boy
Trevor Royle sees this as an opportunity and plants some drugs in the
boot of Darren's car for one of his associates to pick up in Calais.
Later
in the week, Cindy panics over her future with Dirk and steals Darren's
car in an emotional outburst, unaware of the drugs that have been
planted in the vehicle.

Cindy pulled up at the side of the road and they bond over their past
troubles, but will they get too close for comfort?
