Despite the fact that Denny is starting to feel it might be time to move on from Casey, she is still battling with her guilt and shares her concerns with John Palmer, who has experienced the same emotions.
After John makes Denny realise that she will always love Casey, but she can care about someone else too, she arranges to meet Ash at the Pier.
When Ash arrives, Denny takes the plunge and kisses him - to which he responds. However, Ash then leaves Denny devastated when he turns around and walks away. Has he missed his chance with Denny?
