EastEnders, Shirley Carter will confront Shabnam Masood next week, after learning that she gave birth to Dean Wicks's baby.

A big week for Shabnam kicks off with her having an arranged date with Asim, a man who her aunt Fatima has found for her to marry.

However, the date soon takes an awkward turn when Asim asks her about having children in the future. Later, Fatima confronts Shabnam about her frosty behaviour, but leaves Shabnam stunned with the revelation that she knows about the baby she had.

As the pair talk, Fatima promises not to reveal the secret but encourages Shabnam to come clean to her family. However, when Shabnam bumps into Dean, her lie comes under threat when she misinterprets his words and puts her foot in it.

Shabnam misinterprets Dean's words

Following their awkward encounter, Shabnam does her best to avoid Dean, who is now speculating, but Masood soon grows suspicious of her behaviour.

When Shabnam returns home to talk to Masood, she is stunned when Dean arrives at the house to confront her about what she said earlier.

Backed into a corner, Shabnam is forced to finally admit that she had Dean's baby after their one-night stand, but lies by telling him that the baby died from complications.

After opening up to Stacey, Shabnam meets with Dean but starts to trip up over her lies during their conversation, leaving Dean even more confused.

With Dean insisting that his baby is alive, he becomes determined to try and prove this is the case, despite reservations from both Shirley and Buster.

Later, Shabnam is horrified when an angry Shirley exposes her secret in front of her family as she confronts her about Dean's baby. Will Shabnam finally admit the truth?
