Recent episodes have seen Amber discover she is pregnant, only to reveal that she is unsure whether
Daniel is the father of her baby after having a one-night stand with
Josh.
Although Josh currently believes that there is no way the
baby could be his due to the dates not adding up, Amber will be forced
to put him straight later this month after receiving a firm warning from
his sister Imogen.
After breaking the news to a delighted Josh, Amber is surprised by just how well he takes the news
about possible fatherhood.

When Amber subsequently makes an ambiguous comment about her impending
ultrasound later that day, Josh immediately assumes she is inviting him.
With
Amber unable to set him straight, Josh attends the scan, much to
Daniel's annoyance. Josh's presence not only destroys any hope of Daniel and Amber having a bonding moment, but it further adds
to the ongoing tension between the three of them.

However, everything is put to one side when Karl discovers that Amber
has an unusually high blood pressure reading, prompting her to panic and
reach out for Daniel's support.
Later, Karl offers some advice to Daniel, telling him to concentrate on Amber and the baby and the rest will sort itself out.
While
Daniel ponders Karl's words, Imogen finds herself unable to keep quiet
on the matter and gives fill rein to her disapproval.
Confronting
Amber, a furious Imogen says that if Daniel were hers, she would never
have done this to him. Are Amber's problems only just beginning?
