Coronation Street, Roy Cropper will attempt to help his friend Cathy Matthews after it becomes clear she has a serious hoarding problem.

Upcoming scenes will see Roy arrive at Cathy's house to find it full of clutter and items she has been unable to throw away.

Determined to help her, Roy arrives at Cathy's place bearing bin bags in a bid to persuade her to start de-cluttering her house.

Can Roy make Cathy accept that she has a problem?
However, unaware that she has a hoarding problem, Cathy refuses Roy's help, prompting Carla to advise him to leave her alone for good.

Later, Cathy has a change of heart over the way she treated Roy and apologises to him, asking if he will help her clear the rubbish out of her house after all.

After returning to Cathy's house, Roy surveys the piles of mess and forms a plan, while Cathy does her best to share his enthusiasm.

Feeling more positive after a clear out, Cathy proudly shows Roy how she has shifted some junk so they can actually sit down.

Reckoning they've done enough junk clearing for one day, Cathy insists on taking Roy for a drink in the bistro.

However, Roy becomes uneasy when Yasmeen suggests he and Cathy are more than just friends. Is he having second thoughts about his friendship with Cathy?
