EastEnders - Stacey Branning and Martin Fowler's relationship will reach crisis point as they start to consider that they might be better off without each other.

With Stacey currently in a dilemma over whether to continue taking her bipolar medication while she is pregnant, the couple will start to clash and it soon becomes clear that they are both having doubts about their future together.

As the day of Stacey's baby scan arrives, an excited Martin (James Bye) remains unaware of the pressure she is facing over her medication and after a conversation with Sonia, he becomes concerned over how the tablets might be affecting her hormones.

Although the scan gets off to a good start, things take a turn when Martin embarrasses Stacey by bringing up her bipolar, causing an argument. Later, Martin encourages Stacey to let him be involved in the decisions, prompting Stacey to finally admit to Martin that she's unsure over what to do about her medication.

As Stacey starts to open up, Martin is upset to hear that she has already seen the doctor about this but the situation soon escalates when they are interrupted by Sonia, who Martin quickly realises has seen the midwife.

Following another row with Martin, Stacey turns to Sonia, who is quick to give her some words of advice about her ex-husband. However, after being truthful with Stacey, Sonia later applies the same honesty to Martin, suggesting that if he has got any doubts at all then he should leave Stacey.

While Sonia's interference infuriates Stacey, she is soon forced to listen to Sonia's harsh truths about Martin when she spots him in a drunken state at Kush's stag do and becomes increasingly uncertain over his ability to stand by her.

After Martin takes Stacey out for lunch, he promises her that he will step up, but an unconvinced Stacey reveals she's run out of her medication and thinks she's going to stop taking it altogether.

Although Martin says he will support her, Stacey gives him the option of leaving her and when she returns home, he can either be there for her or have left. With Sonia's words still ringing in his ears, what will Martin decide?
