As residents reel in the wake of the crash, Robert
becomes determined to protect his wife by lying to official
investigators who are probing the incident.

Despite the deception, Robert does decide that honesty is the best
policy when it comes to Chrissie's son Lachlan, so he
and Lawrence break the news to him about what his mum has done.
Robert
also confesses everything to Adam and Victoria, hoping that they will
both agree to protect Chrissie as the investigation
continues.
It's clear that the schemer is going all-out to save
his wife from a spell in prison, but will a guilty Chrissie be able to
carry her burden much longer?
