Following his decision to move out of the flat, Dylan wakes up in The Dog car park next week and overhears that Esther Bloom has woken up from her coma.
After informing Trevor of the news, Dylan receives an unpleasant surprise from 'Gothboy98' when the unknown individual sends him an audio message from the webcam at Trevor and Grace's flat.
The webcam audio has been edited to make it sound like Trevor doesn't want him, leaving Dylan further assured in his conviction.
Whilst Grace and Trevor arrive at the hospital hoping to speak to Esther, Dylan attempts to take revenge on his dad by planting drugs at The Loft and then calling the police.
However, Dylan is later overcome with guilt when Trevor presents him with official papers to change his name to Dylan Royle and reminds his son that he does love him.
The touching moment between the pair is soon interrupted by the police following Dylan's decision to frame Trevor, but will he live to regret his actions?
