EastEnders - Dot Branning will receive a warm welcome as she returns to Albert Square, but it soon becomes clear that she is struggling to settle back into her old life.

Dot secretly follows CoraAs her family welcome her back, Dot will soon grow frustrated by all the fuss they are making and goes missing when her probation officer is due.

When Ian eventually finds Dot hiding in the launderette, the pair have a heart-to-heart over everything that has happened over the last year.

However, when Dot admits she wishes she had turned Nick into the police for his own benefit, Ian soon begins to have doubts about his own decisions regarding Bobby.

Later, Dot is relieved that her Parole Officer is satisfied with her situation but asks her friends and family to give her some peace.

As Dot sits with Jim's urn and shares some emotional words, a police officer arrives with Cora who barges in and quickly makes herself at home.

Although Cora initially rejects Dot's help, Dot later decides to follow her and learns she's been living in Patrick's shed. Worried, Dot comes up with a plan to help Cora, but will she be able to get through to her?
