EastEnders - Jane Beale's life will continue to spiral out of control as Phil Mitchell confronts her over Lucy's murder.

Phil could be about to uncover the truth.

Tensions will continue to run high when Jane admits she can't watch an innocent man go to prison and suggest they call Marcus to see if they can help Max, much to Ian's disapproval.

Following a conversation with Dot, Ian agrees to meet with Marcus and give Max an alibi but he is stopped when Bobby is sent home from school after getting in a fight.

Utterly torn over what to do next, Ian makes a shocking decision and subsequently flees Albert Square in the middle of the night, with Bobby in tow.

When Jane tells Sharon that Bobby and Ian are nowhere to be found, Phil overhears the conversation, forcing Sharon to lie to him and say they've gone away until the trial is over.

At the Beales, Jane comes clean to Sharon and admits she plans to speak to Marcus to try to help Max, but a worried Sharon decides to take matters into her own hands.

Later, Jane bumps into an increasingly suspicious Phil who can tell he's not getting the full story from Jane or Sharon and decides to take action.

With Jane's plan falling apart, she decides her only option is to turn herself in and despite Sharon's pleas, Jane calls Keeble and prepares to hand herself in.

However, after Phil confronts Sharon and reveals he knows she is lying, he soon turns his attention to Jane when he turns up at her house and aggressively grabs her.
