With Cain
still adamant that he doesn't want a relationship with the toddler,
Joanie Wright is frustrated to learn that Kyle knows who his dad is.
As
Zak Dingle promises Joanie that the pair will bond in time, Cain is
unimpressed when he finds out that his wife Moira is looking after Kyle.
When
Moira gets a call from the hospital regarding baby Johnny, Cain has no
choice but to look after his son and is left shocked when he refers to
him as his dad.

The following day, Cain berates Moira for setting him up with Kyle, but
she is unmoved and reminds him of what they are going through with
Johnny at the moment.
Cain's frustration grows when he hears that
it was Kerry who told Kyle who his dad is, but his reaction prompts Zak
to lose his patience and he questions his son on why he's so scared to
be a father to Kyle.
Later, a concerned Debbie finds Cain at
Shadrach's grave and they open up about their feelings, but will she be
able to change his mind about his son?
