The Platts nightmare will continue when Callum's mother Marion turns up and demands answers about her son's whereabouts.
As
both Kylie and Sarah conceal their guilt, David launches an attack on
Marion and throws her out after labelling Callum a drug-dealing thug.
Later,
when Billy Mayhew asks after Sarah, a horrified David realises that she
has been discussing her problems with the local vicar.
After
dragging Sarah into the Rovers back yard, David berates her and warns
that if she says anything again, he and Kylie will tell the police that
she killed Callum and forced them to cover for her.
As Sarah reels from David's threat, he tries to persuade her that it
would be best for everyone if she moved back to Milan, where she can put
the whole Callum saga behind her.
Following David's advice,
Sarah hands her notice in at the pub but faces obstacles in the form of
her daughter Bethany, who refuses to leave.
With Sarah's plans to leave in jeopardy, Kylie is shocked to hear
that David threatened her by telling her that they would shop her to the
police for murder.
Appalled, Kylie tells Sarah that she would
never do that and persuades her to have a holiday in Italy, before
returning home in a couple of weeks.
However, David is furious
with Kyle for meddling in his plans and the couple have a huge row. Will
the Platts be able to hold it together?
