The couple's upcoming nuptials have been on the back-burner due to the
tragic death of their baby son over the summer, but Shabnam will
surprise Kush when she hastily rearranges the occasion.
Shabnam's
sudden eagerness comes as she continues to push forward with her
residency application for her daughter Jade, despite Kush's insistence
that they have plenty of time.
After Shabnam questions the social worker Fiona once again about her chances of
getting Jade back, she is given an idea during a conversation with
Martin Fowler.
Later, Shabnam surprises Kush when she tells him that she has arranged their wedding for next week.
However, Shabnam's plan starts to fall apart when Masood's father has a
heart attack and Kush suggests postponing again.
With Masood away
visiting his unwell dad, Shabnam remains adamant that the wedding is
still happening next week, but after spotting something on the laptop,
it suddenly dawns on Kush that Shabnam has an ulterior motive for
wanting to get married so quickly.
As Martin confronts Kush about his sudden change of mood, Kush tells him
that the wedding is off, prompting a concerned Stacey to talk to
Shabnam about moving too quickly with the arrangements.
Later,
Kush attempts to talk Shabnam, admitting that he knows what's really
going on, but he walks out when she refuses to listen to him. Will the
wedding still go ahead?
