Jim's loved ones learned that he had passed
away in his nursing home earlier this year. They later paid their
respects to him in a touching funeral service.
The storyline was a tribute to John Bardon who played Jim Branning, after he passed away 12th September 2014 at the age of 75.
Dot will say a final goodbye to her husband.
With the help of her close friends and family, Dot decides to scatter Jim's ashes in the Square.
Bardon played Jim Branning on the show between 1996 and 2011. An episode of EastEnders was dedicated to John Bardon on September 12th last year following the news of his death.
