Bobby will lash out at Jane, and
Kathy will be horrified when she finds an injured Jane lying at the
bottom of the stairs.
Although
Jane is keen to cover for her son by saying that she tripped, Kathy soon
hears the truth from Bobby, who reveals that he pushed her down the
stairs.
The Beales then face a
difficult time as Lucy's birthday arrives, but Kathy is determined that
Bobby should face punishment for hurting Jane and warns him that he
needs to tell Ian what he did.
However, when Ian and Kathy later find themselves returning to their
roots as they work on Martin Fowler's stall, she is forced to keep the
bombshell to herself when Ian opens up about his love for Bobby.
Although Jane initially refuses to
accept Kathy's suggestion that Bobby might need professional help, her
problems go from bad to worse when he reacts badly after she refuses to
buy him a bike.
Feeling desperate,
Jane finally confides in Kathy over her fears about Bobby and drops
another bombshell by revealing that she is even questioning whether she
did the right thing in covering up Lucy's murder.
As
the pair talk, they vow to stick together to help Bobby and they later
tell him that his behaviour isn't acceptable, but will they really be
able to get through to him?
