David
Platt isn't pleased to see Gemma and doesn't show
any sympathy when she pleads for a chance to turn her life around.
Just as Gemma is about to give up and go, she bumps into David's sister
Sarah and is shocked to see that she's visibly pregnant.
Gemma guesses that Callum must be the
baby's father, so she resorts to her old tricks by threatening to tell
him everything unless she can keep her job.
David isn't too worried about this possibility either and calls Gemma's bluff, but he's hit with an idea when she claims that she only spoke to Callum a few days ago.
Realising
it could help their murder cover-up if Gemma is mouthing off about
Callum still being alive, David sneakily persuades Audrey to keep her at
the salon after all.
Gemma is delighted to be given a trial, but will David live to regret his latest cunning plan?
