Having witnessed the whole thing, Paddy confronts Rhona over her behaviour but soon lives to regret speaking out when she fires back with a few more home truths of her own.
With the couple at breaking point once again, it's not long before some of their closest friends are brought into the tense situation, starting when Marlon Dingle learns of Paddy's affair for the first time.

who later listens to Rhona and comforts her when she breaks down over
her strained marriage.
