EastEnders - Whitney Dean makes the surprising discovery that she has chlamydia.

Whitney was overjoyed to discover that she was pregnant, but her happiness will be cut short when she gets a call from the doctors, who inform her and her boyfriend Lee Carter that she has contracted the sexually transmitted disease.

Lee will start to have serious doubts about becoming a father.

Lee will decide to come clean with Whitney about how he really feels about the pregnancy following a conversation with Martin Fowler, which confirms his theory that a termination would be the best option.

As Lee decides to cook a romantic meal for Whitney to break the news, he panics when he realises the abortion leaflet is missing. Worried that Whitney has seen it, Lee desperately tries to get in touch with her, but he soon learns it was Mick after his dad confronts him about his intentions.

Upset, Lee is forced to share his fears to Mick, who in turn opens up about his own experiences, but there are soon bigger things to worry about when Whitney gets a call from the doctors asking her to come in.

With Lee by her side, Whitney learns that she has chlamydia and is immediately left fearing for her unborn baby. Viewers know that Abi Branning found out she had chlamydia earlier this year, shortly after sleeping with Lee, but will this worrying turn of events finally force him to tell Whitney the truth?
