Coronation Street - Jenny Bradley and Johnny Connor will strike up a new deal as their relationship takes a surprising turn.

The pair get passionate in the factory, but Johnny will leave Jenny hurt in the aftermath as he cools it off, telling her he needs to focus on his daughter Kate.

Furious, Jenny bitterly accuses him of using her for sex then casting her aside, and later makes him jealous by going for a drink with fellow businessmen Matthew Singh.

Faced with the prospect of losing her, Johnny apologises to Jenny and admits he regrets the way he's treated her. However, Jenny gets tough as she firmly lays down the law, telling him that if they are to have any chance together, he needs to show her some respect.

Having taken Jenny's words on board, Johnny tells her he'd like them to start again and he's booked them into a posh hotel for the night.

With the pair's relationship back on track, things take another twist when Jenny uses the power to get one up on her factory co-workers.

After telling tales on Beth and Kirk, Jenny suggests to Johnny they should keep their relationship under wraps for the time being, as she can be his eyes and ears on the factory floor.

Richard Hawley, who plays Johnny, said: "I think Johnny thinks it might be fun, but also his business sense, which is one of the most active sensors in him, is that this could be very useful for him.  He thinks this will be good for him to know what's going on when he's not there and what everyone gets up to when he goes out! It's a risky game, and I think he will be hoist by his own petard. It's bound to come back and bite him. There is this sense that maybe Jenny is using Johnny, but there's also the sense that maybe she will change too and get over that. We're not shackled to our past and we can change. I think they're going to have fun and I think they've a future definitely, once they've got past the game playing perhaps."

The big question now is whether Johnny and Jenny can actually have a future together, but Hawley thinks that they have a good chance. "I think she ticks a number of boxes for Johnny. He's a sucker for someone who is vulnerable and I think he sees her as vulnerable. Aside from that, she's fun and he likes that. She's a little dangerous and that's attractive. He sees possibility between them. It also started with such warmth and friendship too and that can be a really good start to a relationship. Johnny hasn't managed to achieve a happy relationship since his wife. So I think when he falls in love it will be really important to him and a very deep feeling. I don't think he's a philanderer. I think he's quite deep and seeking real love. So maybe they will get married one day, and if they do then Johnny will really mean it."
