New EastEnders pictures have been released offering a first look at the upcoming Lucy Beale flashback episode.

A special edition of the Walford soap airing on Thursday, February 19th will see EastEnders revisit Good Friday 2014, which is the night that Lucy was killed.

The 30-minute episode will reveal exactly what happened to Lucy on the night of the murder, allowing viewers to learn not only how she met her fatal end but also why.

New images from the episode reveal some key scenes which have only ever been mentioned in dialogue until now, including Ian Beale's meeting with prostitute Rainie Cross, Lucy helping a drunken Jake Stone, and the moment that Lee Carter witnessed a fiery row between Lucy and Billy Mitchell.

EastEnders' flashback episode sees Hetti Bywater reprise her role as Lucy, while Jamie Lomas and Tanya Franks also return as their respective characters Jake and Rainie.

Although the focus will be on Lucy's last moments, the flashback will also feature other stories from a new perspective.
