As his murder trial continues, Brax leaves his family
shocked when he makes the decision to plead not guilty, despite there
being no evidence to prove his innocence.
When the trial begins,
Brax's lawyer is desperate to find some information that might discredit
Sam as a witness. When Ash reveals that Dean attacked Sam and put him
in hospital, his lawyer becomes hopeful he can use this to prove Sam had
motive to kill Dean.
Brax's lawyer manages to obtain police and
medical reports that prove the attack happened, so it looks as if things
are looking up for Brax.

However in a shock twist, Sam tells the court that Dean owed Ash money,
prompting the judge to grant the police a search warrant. Later, things
take a dark turn when they find a duffle bag of money, which Ash had
foolishly hid at Angelo's.
With the future looking increasingly
bleak for Brax, the trial goes from bad to worse when a warrant is
issued for Ash's arrest as an accessory to the murder.
Desperate
to protect Ash, Brax confesses and is sentenced to 20 years in prison
without parole, as Ricky is left devastated. How will Brax cope with
life back in prison?
