As previously reported, Georgia will decide to leave
Erinsborough following the revelation that her mother Rhonda has cancer.
Georgia's
decision comes after she struggles to balance her personal life with
her work duties, resulting in her taking some time off.
When
Georgia makes a careless mistake at the hospital with Toadie and Sonya's
daughter, she decides to take action before she can be disciplined and
tells Karl that she will take leave.
Later, Georgia reveals to
Kyle that she wants to join her mum in Germany to support her during her
treatment treatment, and she would like him to go with her.

Wanting to support his wife, Kyle agrees but when he breaks the news to
his grandmother Sheila, she is strongly opposed to the idea. After
Georgia gently questions her, Sheila admits that she is scared of losing
Kyle and is worried she will never see him again.
Although
Georgia reassures Sheila that this will not be the case, it soon becomes
clear that she has her own worries about taking Kyle away from his
home.
When Georgia realises just how much time and effort Kyle
has put into the Erinsborough Beautification Project, she convinces him
it's too good an opportunity to pass up and insists that he stay in
Erinsborough to keep his ambitions alive.
As Georgia bids farewell to Ramsay Street, how will Kyle cope being parted from his wife?
